The Final Chapter of the Mike Reed Saga
Here is an upcoming release by Bruce Walden
Mike Reed is in his late forties. His son Carter is now a man of his own and working in the same field- Christian Archaeology. The family has flown to Israel to take part in an investigation to see if perhaps the actual Temple was built in the City of David, rather than on what we call the Temple Mount.
As this is going on, a mysterious financier is encouraging a fringe group of Muslim radicals to destroy the Dome of the Rock on the notion that it was built to resemble the Byzantine Christian Churches of the era. But this fellow has other plans that go far beyond the destruction of an ancient building.
The family Reed and their friends fly from Alaska to witness the goings on there and to help in the investigation through the use of LIDAR, and they find amazing things, but what is to come of it all? Will the Temple be rebuilt and if so, will all of the original items made for service in the Temple be found? The Third Temple Project is assembling a group to begin rebuilding the Temple using as much of the original structure as can be found. Many pieces have remained hidden for nearly two thousand years, but new pieces are identified and reproduced with the aid of computers to complete the project.
And what of the Holy of Holies, and the Ark of the Covenant?
Join Mike Reed on this, his final adventure in the world of Christian Archaeology.
